How do I confirm a hotel reservation or an unfinished booking?
Short answer
Check your booking account and confirmation email to see whether the reservation completed. If you want to cancel an existing reservation, read its cancellation fee before confirming.
What to do
- Check the booking account and email, including spam, for the channel you used. For a Booking.com reservation, use booking.com/help if the confirmation is missing.
- For an existing booking, open the confirmation or account and review its cancellation terms.
- After cancellation, keep the confirmation. For a Booking.com booking, its FAQ says to contact the property if the cancellation email has not arrived within 24 hours; for other channels, follow that provider's instructions.
