Check that your lodging is legally registered on the Korea Tourism Organization's Safestay site. Regular taxis usually have no car seat, so with small children the subway and bus are easier. In Seoul, up to 3 children under 6 ride the subway and bus free with each paying adult; in Busan, children aged 6–12 (foreigners included) ride free with a transport card.

Start with a shortlist suited to your plans: Hotel Naru in Mapo for a Han River setting, Novotel Gangnam for a Gangnam base, or Grand Mercure Yongsan for a suite with a kitchen. These are verified options, not a ranking of the best hotel.

Toyoko Inn is one chain with an official Korean branch list, including Seoul Gangnam, Busan Seomyeon and Busan Station No.1. Choose the exact branch and compare room details, the total price for your dates and cancellation terms before booking.

Consider Orakai Insadong Suites in Insadong or Hotel Naru in Mapo. Ask the hotel to confirm availability, any minimum stay and the total price for your date.

Compare pension offers for the same dates, guest count and cancellation terms. A cheaper headline price is only a good deal if the final total and facilities meet your needs.

Check your booking account and confirmation email to see whether the reservation completed. If you want to cancel an existing reservation, read its cancellation fee before confirming.

Aloft Seoul Myeongdong and Four Points Josun Seoul Myeongdong both list Japanese among their staff languages. They are useful starting choices; ask about your arrival shift if Japanese assistance is essential.

JustBe Temple in Hongdae is a candidate matching your women-only dorm and breakfast requirements. Its operator lists women’s capsule dorms and describes the property as five minutes from Hongik University Station Exit 7.

Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam is one candidate: its Superior-room page explicitly lists a bidet. Room condition cannot be guaranteed from an amenities list, so raise any cleanliness concern directly with the hotel before booking.

Contact your property before arrival and get its late-check-in instructions in writing. Confirm the booking date if you arrive after midnight.

Grand Hyatt Incheon and ibis Styles Ambassador Incheon Airport are landside hotels: you must be able to enter Korea to use them. For a stay without immigration, choose the Walkerhill Transit Hotel in your departing terminal.

Ask your hotel first. If it cannot hold your bag, check a staffed T-Luggage center at a major Seoul subway station.

The hotel’s official page lists a complimentary hot bath for in-house guests at ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong. It lists 06:00–24:00 access with cleaning from 12:00–14:00; confirm any temporary closure with reception.

Inspect the bed area before unpacking, keep your luggage away from beds and the floor, and tell management promptly if you find suspicious signs. Winter travel is not a reason to skip these precautions.
