I lost something at Incheon Airport. How do I get it back?

Short answer

If you lost it inside the terminal, contact the Incheon Airport Lost and Found Office by phone or email. If you lost it on the plane, contact your airline; on an airport bus or the Airport Railroad, contact that operator.

What to do
  1. Work out where you lost it: in the terminal, on the plane, on a bus or on the train.
  2. If it was in the terminal, contact the Lost and Found Office. Both offices are open every day, 07:00–21:30. Terminal 1 (basement level 1, west side): 032-741-3110 or 3114, lostnfound@biz.airport.kr. Terminal 2 (basement level 1, east side): 032-741-8988 or 8989, lostnfound2@biz.airport.kr.
  3. Also search the police found-item service, Police Civil Service 24 (minwon24.police.go.kr).
  4. If your item is found, you can collect it yourself or send someone on your behalf.

If that doesn't work

  • If the office does not have it yet, search the police found-item service again later. Items found in the duty-free area come through Customs, so they take longer to register.
Check before relying on this
  • The office cannot search the place where you lost the item or bring it to you.
  • Storage periods differ: passports go to the relevant embassy after 1 month; phones, tablets and smartwatches go to the Mobile Phone Lost & Found Center (1566-4300) after 1 month; cards and ID cards are kept 1 month; power banks are disposed of immediately. Other items unclaimed after 6 months are sold, disposed of or donated.
