Can I eat alone at a Korean restaurant?
Short answer
Ask whether the restaurant seats one person and whether your chosen dish has a minimum order. These are separate questions.
Solo seating does not mean every dish is available as a single portion.
Practical next steps
- Ask both whether one person can be seated and whether your chosen dish can be ordered for one. Check any minimum portions or minimum spend before ordering.
- If the dish requires more than you want, ask for a single-person menu or choose another restaurant. One available seat does not settle the menu conditions.

What to do
- Check the restaurant’s current menu or booking information.
- Ask: “Can one person order this dish? Is there a minimum order?”
If that doesn't work
- If the dish has a minimum order that does not suit you, choose a dish the restaurant confirms for one person, or another restaurant.
Check before relying on this
- Solo seating does not mean every dish is available as a single portion.
- The linked restaurant is only an example of solo seating, not a recommendation or a nationwide rule.
