How do I complete NAVER passport verification on iOS?

Short answer

For NAVER reservation or ordering, use your original, unexpired foreign passport and complete both the passport-camera and face checks. Your passport name and birth date must match your NAVER account, and the passport must not already be verified on another NAVER ID.

What to do
  1. Open passport verification in the NAVER reservation or ordering flow; allow the app camera in iOS Settings if permission is blocked.
  2. Place the original passport flat in good light without glare and photograph it directly in the verification camera; do not upload a saved photo.
  3. Keep your whole face inside the frame, look at the camera and follow the movement instructions. If it fails, check account name/date of birth, passport expiry and previous verification before reporting the exact error through NAVER Help.
