Where can I try skydiving in Korea?
Short answer
For an outdoor tandem parachute jump, SkyDive Korea lists its drop zone in Chungju. For indoor wind-tunnel flying, KTO lists Fly Station in Yongin.
What to do
- Use SkyDive Korea’s tandem booking page, select a weekend or public holiday, and book in the actual participant’s name. The displayed booking payment is a deposit; check the full package total.
- The drop zone is 19-1 Danam-gil, Angseong-myeon, Chungju-si; do not travel to the company’s Suwon office. Arrive one hour before your reserved jump.
- If you need station or terminal pickup, ask the operator whether it is offered for your session and obtain the meeting point and time before travelling.
- Check the operator’s age, weight, health and cancellation conditions before paying; obtain current contact hours from its official booking page.
Check before relying on this
- The operator FAQ excludes under-16s and participants at or above 100 kg; ages 16–18 need guardian consent. Ask for the current document requirements and any weight surcharge before paying.
- The operator also restricts recent scuba diving, pregnancy, intoxication and other stated health circumstances. These are operator rules, not medical clearance.
- Weather or aircraft problems can cancel the jump. Check the refund terms for your booking channel; personal cancellation has a different deadline.
