Can I camp in Dadohae National Park?
Short answer
Yes, designated campsites exist in Dadohaehaesang National Park. KNPS lists Palyeongsan, a concrete mainland camping option in Goheung; this does not permit camping anywhere on the islands.
What to do
- Use the KNPS reservation page and select Dadohaehaesang → Palyeongsan; check the date and remaining pitches.
- The campsite lists 14:00 check-in and noon checkout, showers, washing facilities and electricity. Match your tent to the selected deck dimensions.
- For another island/campsite, check that exact site and its boat connection; do not use Palyeongsan’s facilities or permission as a substitute.
Check before relying on this
- Obtain confirmation for the specific campsite; a national-park name alone does not establish camping permission.
