How early should I plan and reserve a summer or peak-season trip?
Short answer
Reserve the parts of your trip that must happen on a specific date first. There is no verified universal number of months that guarantees availability.
What to do
- Reserve international transport and any fixed-date experience before flexible sightseeing.
- For accommodation, use NAVER Map to open the actual properties and compare room occupancy, availability and cancellation deadlines.
- For the early-August three-week family trip, secure rooms on nights that cannot move; retain changeable terms for undecided sections.
- Check current availability for your dates; fixed three- or six-month booking rules cannot tell you whether your chosen rooms are available.
