Do I need K-ETA or an e-Arrival Card?
Short answer
Check the official K-ETA and e-Arrival requirements for your passport and entry status. A K-ETA exemption does not automatically exempt you from the e-Arrival Card.
Completing a form does not guarantee entry. Check the current rules for your case.
Practical next steps
- Have your passport nationality, passport type, arrival date and visa or residence status ready. Check K-ETA and the arrival declaration separately.
- If the official result is unclear, send those details through the official enquiry channel before travel. Do not enter passport details on lookalike application sites.

What to do

- Check K-ETA eligibility or exemption on the official portal.
- Use the official e-Arrival guidance to check whether you need the arrival form.
Check before relying on this
- Completing a form does not guarantee entry. Check the current rules for your case.
- K-ETA exemption does not automatically mean visa exemption or e-Arrival exemption.
- The temporary K-ETA exemption for designated countries currently ends on 2026-12-31; check for extensions or changes.
- Avoid unofficial lookalike application sites; a submitted form does not guarantee entry.
- Even with a valid K-ETA, you must complete the e-Arrival Card if you enter Korea with a visa. Check the official declaration guide for your entry status.
