How do I continue from Incheon Airport to a city outside Seoul?
Short answer
Airport buses serve several cities directly. Choose your exact city stop and ICN terminal, then check the next available departure before buying.
Choose the exact arrival stop, not only the city name. Check your date and allow time for immigration and baggage.
What to do
- Open ICN’s official bus search and enter your destination. Select Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 to match your flight.
- Check the arrival stop, travel date and departure. Leave time for immigration and baggage collection.
- Buy through the linked reservation service or an airport ticket counter or kiosk. Follow your ticket for the boarding bay and departure.
Check before relying on this
- Bus schedules, fares and boarding bays can change. This guide does not guarantee a seat or a connection after a delayed flight.
- Not every bus serves every stop. Check the route on your ticket rather than using only the city name.
- An English booking page does not guarantee that every foreign card or overseas phone number will work. Use an airport counter if you cannot complete online booking.

Daegu, Gyeongju and Ulsan
For Daegu, look for Dongdaegu. For Gyeongju, select the Gyeongju stop on a Gyeongju/Pohang service. Ulsan services run via Sinbok. Choose the stop before paying.
Daejeon and KAIST
Daejeon buses serve several stops, including Government Complex Daejeon. For KAIST Main Campus, the university recommends getting off there and taking a taxi to 291 Daehak-ro, Yuseong-gu.
Suwon and Sungkyunkwan University
Route 4000 serves Dongsuwon. Routes 4100 and 4100-2 pass West Suwon Terminal. For SKKU’s Natural Sciences Campus, the university lists a taxi connection from West Suwon Terminal. Confirm the Suwon campus, not the Seoul campus.
Sokcho
The airport bus to Sokcho travels via Gimpo Airport and Yangyang. Check your terminal’s departures before arranging the rest of your journey.
Pangyo
Route 5000 stops at Pangyo Station’s north side. It is not a hotel shuttle.
Returning from Suwon or Jeonju
For the airport-bound trip, check the departure stop in Suwon or the exact terminal in Jeonju, and choose ICN T1 or T2. Use the airport-bound timetable; the schedule from ICN does not tell you the return departure. Work backwards from your airline’s check-in deadline.
Jeonju: choose the right terminal
Jeonju has different airport-bus arrival terminals. Check the exact terminal on your chosen service and plan the local journey to your stay separately. Use the official Visit Jeonju transport guide linked below.
