Airport train and limousine bus tickets at Incheon: where can I buy them and which payments work?

Short answer

Buy AREX Express tickets on the official website or app, or from station ticket machines; foreign cards work. Ride the AREX All-stop train with a transit card such as T-money. For airport limousine buses, buy a ticket at the counter or kiosk when leaving the airport; going from Seoul to the airport, pay on the bus with cash or a transit card.

What to do
  1. Choose your service: AREX Express (Seoul Station non-stop), AREX All-stop, or a limousine bus to your area.
  2. AREX Express: book on the official website or app, or use the ticket machines at Seoul Station B2 or the airport Transportation Center B1. Scan the QR code at the gate.
  3. AREX All-stop: tap a T-money-type transit card, or buy a single-journey card (deposit refunded when you exit).
  4. Limousine bus: at Incheon, buy at a ticket counter or kiosk; from Seoul, have cash or a transit card ready to pay on board.

  • Bus full? Limousine buses are first come, first served; wait for the next one.
Check before relying on this
  • T-money cannot be used on the AREX Express train.
  • On Airport Limousine buses from Seoul, you cannot pay by credit card on board, and there are no advance reservations.
  • At Terminal 2, Airport Limousine routes require a paper ticket.
  • Other bus companies (e.g. KAL Limousine) may have different payment rules.
