✈️ Only a layover? What you can do between flights

Your total layover is not the same as your sightseeing time.

Under 6 hours

Stay at the airport. A Seoul trip is usually not realistic.

6–8 hours

Consider an official 3-hour Transit Tour only if your flight times and entry eligibility work.

8–12 hours

A 4–5 hour official Transit Tour or one very simple Seoul plan may be possible.

12–24 hours

A half-day or day in Seoul can be realistic with a large return-to-airport buffer.

⚠️ Before leaving the airport

Confirm that you can enter Korea, your next-flight terminal, immigration time, airport-to-city travel, and your return safety buffer.

Incheon Airport currently lists 3-hour, 4-hour and 5-hour transit tours. Tour schedules can change. Transit Tour participants need their passport and both arrival and departure boarding passes, and should reach the registration desk at least 30 minutes before the tour starts.
